ProStock ATH M50X & M Series Replacement Earpads - Custom Designed Shape with Memory Foam - PU - Black

Swapped out the stock ATH-M50x earpads for these Brainwavz ProStock sheepskin replacements, and I gotta say—solid upgrade all around. Comfort is night and day compared to the originals. The memory foam is plush but supportive, and the sheepskin keeps things breathable, so no more sweaty ears during long sessions.

Sound-wise, they stay true to the M50x’s signature tuning, with maybe a slight improvement in clarity. Bass feels a bit tighter, highs have a touch more air, and isolation is still solid. If anything, the deeper pads make the soundstage feel a little more open, which is a nice bonus.

Install takes a little patience since the fit is snug, but once they’re on, they’re locked in. Build quality feels premium, and I expect these to last a long time. Price might be a little steep for some, but for what you’re getting—comfort, durability, and minimal sound coloration—it’s 100% worth it. If you’re rocking the M50x, these are a no-brainer.

One of the few requests I was actually looking forward to for a review of a product. Very, very pleased with the Oval Prostock Sheepskin pads for the Audio Technica ATH M50x headphones. Gone is the instant heat from the old vinyl pads which became quite sweaty quickly. Now the comfort of a non sticky fit around the ears and they are a good fit too, nicely sealing around the ears and without affecting the sound signature of the headphones. They stay much cooler than the original pads. The pads are also well made, good stitching and accurately angled, sloping inward towards the ear. As said, very pleased with this upgrade from Brainwave and it was worth the wait to have them shipped to the UK, customer service has been great too with good communication from the company throughout my order which is the first I have placed and so new to the product. Excellent job Brainwave.

Slightly larger than stock, and slightly firmer cushioning, but still very comfortable and better noise isolation than the old worn out stock pads. Definitely recommend!

Better than i expected. They are much more comfortable than the originals and the sound quality seems better imo, atleast deeper and the bass has improved.
