The reviews are starting to come in for our latest Gel filled earpads. We have 2 version of these special cooling earpads, both a classic Oval version, as well as an XL one for larger headphones.
Apparently the infamous Zeos Pantera has been very happy with them, as has reviewer FireLion, over at Head-Fi.
FireLion has a full on post that details almost all our XL pad range, listing their attributes and performance, its well worth a read if you want to get a feel for how each pad and material performs. As always, it is one persons view and reflects their personal taste as well as equipment choice, but still, there is some good general info to be had, hop on over and have a read.
I actually find that the sound of these to be my favourite of all the XL pads as it hones in the Vibrolabs T50 to my preferred sound signature and it just seems to work with my particular setup. They are generally a little cheaper than the lambskin but about $10 more than the cheaper variants so the question remains, are they worth it? Absolutely!
