The ear pad replacement did not fit over the bracket or the earpad cans. It is too loose over the bracket, and the cord prevents the replacement over the cans themselves. Customer service was very helpful and understanding.
I was ecstatic to finally find a replacement pads for my Sennheiser HD 205 earpads (apart from the ones I've been buying from Aliexprees).
Delivery was quick but when I opened the package, dismantled the headphone housing, the joy disappeared - the pads are too large for HD 205 model. =(
The quest continues.
